The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great zeal and patriotic fervor at Nirmala Convent Sr. Sec. School, Kathgodam, on January 26, 2025. The event was a tribute to the democratic values and rich cultural heritage of India. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag . As the National Anthem, “Jana Gana Mana,” echoed through the school grounds, a wave of patriotism filled the air.To commemorate the occasion, students delivered inspiring speeches on the significance of Republic Day and the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. A patriotic song was performed, celebrating the unity and diversity of the nation, followed by vibrant dance performances that depicted India’s rich cultural heritage. A skit was also enacted. Addressing the gathering, the Principal Sr Smitha Mathew emphasized the importance of being responsible citizens and upholding the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. She encouraged students to work towards the betterment of the nation and embrace their duties with sincerity and dedication.
