On October 2, Nirmala Convent Sr Sec School came together to honor two of India's most respected leaders—Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri—on their birth anniversaries. The event began with a solemn prayer service, paying tribute to the ideals of truth, non-violence, and simplicity that Gandhi embodied, alongside Shastri’s dedication to the nation's progress. In keeping with Gandhi’s emphasis on cleanliness, the school also participated in a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan drive. Through these thoughtful activities, the school celebrated the values of leadership, service, and national pride, which both Gandhi ji and Shastri ji stood for, inspiring students to follow in their footsteps.
